Rock Climbing
All our climbing courses are run in Snowdonia, North Wales by top qualified instructors at low ratios. This enables our approach to be flexible and personal. We run introductory course for those with no experience through to high end guiding or advanced rescue and lead courses, so there is something for all abilities.
Above all we want to pass on our passion for climbing. Our enthusiasm to be out on the rock will be infectious.
Venues
Our courses are run from our base just outside Llanberis at Arete Outdoor Centre. From the centre we are fortunate to have easy access to both mountain crags and sea cliffs. Volcanic rock in the mountains gives many classic routes, steep climbing on limestone, quartzite on the sea cliffs and slate for something different to name but a few local variations. So many different styles of climbing within a short drive gives endless variations, that’s why North Wales is the top rock climbing destination.
Instructors
All our instructors will be experienced and well qualified holding at least the Mountain Instructor Award (MIA, highest UK rock qualification) and members of AMI (Association of Mountaineering Instructors).
