The 2 day
indoor to outdoor course allows you to apply your existing climbing
skills to real outdoor crags. Experience the excitement and
adventure of rock climbing outside. Throughout the weekend we
introduce you to new techniques both in movement on the rock
and handling the ropes and climbing gear.
On the first
day we use single pitch crags (climbable in less than one rope-length).
Working at low client to instructor ratios of 1:4 maximises
the time spent climbing and learning about the rope setups.
The second
day is on longer multi-pitch routes. The ratio is reduced to
1:2, which is necessary to complete routes over 100m in length.
If you are interested we can also introduce more complex ropework
and gear placements while climbing.
