Kayak Star Test Awards |

 The new Star Award scheme provides the support and encouragement
paddlers need to get out and go paddling. The initial awards
are generic, encouraging paddlers to experience the various
disciplines of paddlesport available, with paddlers 'specialising'
at the Three Star Award. The emphasis of these initial awards is to develop
personal skills and gain independence.
Sea 2 Summit offers BCU Star
Test Training and Assessments in one, two and three star. This
includes white
water three star and sea
kayaking three star.

Two
Star - An improvement award that helps paddlers develop fundamental
paddlesport skills on flat water. The emphasis is on gaining a
breadth of experience, creating the desired movement of the boat
and developing an understanding into how the paddle, boat and
water interact.

White Water 3 Star Assessment / Training |

This
is the new 3 Star course as of the 1st September 2007. Gaining
the award demonstrates that you are a competent grade II paddler,
aware of river hazards and can competently look after yourself
as part of a group of like paddlers. |

course can either be done as a one day assessment, if you feel
you are at the standard, or alternatively a two day course. The
